It's ok.

Not as immediately lovable as The Shade. Probably my least favourite of all their leads.

Kind of brings to mind Fantasies.

 

This should do well on rock radio though...

I initially felt like it was my least favorite lead too, but I actually think YWY holds that title for me still. I can see this doing well for them though. The last album in general wasn't my favorite, but I'm excited to hear the directions this one goes.

Honestly it reminds me of old Metric. I prefer this style over the more polished electronic type thing Synthetica had, and at first listen it grasped me much more than The Shade. Already off to a better start than the last two albums IMO.

Pretty much the opposite of mine, then :rip: Live > Fantasies > Grow Up = Old World > Pagans > Synthetica, IMO

 

That said, I genuinely love all of them and I have no negatives to say.

 

 

 

 

Except that Synthetica was a rough spot. :emofish:
