Basically, European Union thinks using memes is an act of stealing someone's creation. 

 

I don't know how on Earth are they going to enforce this. Memes are literally made to be shared and go viral :rip: You WANT your meme to be used by people.

Some campaigners THINK this might happen if the law is enforced extremely strictly

 

Memes would only be taken down if the original creator of the image wanted to, the EU wouldn't be "banning" anything 

 

It's still silly and unenforceable but the headline is an exaggeration
