Solo is coming for ALL of the Oscars. Return Of The King is shook and crying in the corner.

I think it’s between her and Nicole Kidman who could totally snatch a 2nd Oscar

True. I don’t see Amy ever winning in lead and her 6th nomination in supporting seems like the perfect occasion to reward her, especially since she’ll play a political figure which is the perfect oscar bait

but on the other hand Kidman has had so much hype and goodwill recently thanks to Big Little Lies that she may as well win next year. Her first win is old enough (2002) for the voters to give her another trophy

Not better than Viola but his performance seems to be getting the most acclaim after Viola's. We don’t see much of him in the trailer but it looks solid. I can’t wait to see it

It’s really difficult to predict without shortlists of whose competing for what films. :katie:

Amy I the only one who doesn’t really get Oscar vibes from Widows?

Apparently the trailer is misleading and it leans more towards drama than pure action

and Viola kinda is on lock for plenty of reasons. The others could totally miss though
