Why did Michelle not get an Australian tour for her iconic neo-soul/gospel debut Heart to Yours? Australia gave the world Hillsongs...they're here for Christ too.

Or what about the criminally-underrated pop gem Unexpected?

AUS clearly loves the up-tempos. We Break the Dawn would have been a cute top 10 for ha.

They were here for Queen.

All jokes aside. Michelle is queen. Later on, when Destiny's will get in RnR HoF, I want an iconic and funny and tears filled speech from her.

This is a true statement.

The naturally soulful Michelle doesn't get the credit she deserves.

It wasn't just Australia, it was the case everywhere. Even in the US, Destiny's Child were getting urban-only hits. Say My Name was their first mainstream hit in 2000.

Not quite, No No No, Part II (the remix with Wyclef) and Bug a Boo peaked at #3, plus Bills was the group's first #1 - so Michelle and Farrah were effectively riding the wave of LeToya and LaTavia's momentum. Canada, UK and the Netherlands were here for DC4 but the rest of the world caught up once Michelle was singing  :nicole:

Independent Women is one of their biggest hits and the first to feature Michelle's unique tone.

Michelle did help push TWOTW to be the group's best-seller though

Those singles only got massive urban play, they failed to go top ten on mainstream radio. Say My Name was their first mainstream radio hit.

Slaynitra's impact. Blessed and highly favoured wins.

The scandal over LeToya and LaTavia being replaced is really what caused their mainstream buzz. If not for that Say My Name may have never gotten any pop airplay and Destiny’s Child may have never crossed over and Beyoncé’s career would be very different
