I am a RiRi stan but we can't compare singles that were sold for 99 cents on itunes with physical singles that cost $4 ad you had to go to a store to get them.

OP isn’t even comparing Artist A vs Artist B but simply listing everyone’s certifications numbers.

- Think everyone knows music has been and will continue to be consumed in various mediums as time goes on.

What about Girls Aloud, and Sugababes?

Sugababes - 3,200,000 albums & 2,400,000 singles if I've counted correct giving them 5,600,000 total.

Girls Aloud - 3,400,000 albums & 2,400,000 singles. 5,800,000 total.

Gurl, album sales in Asia are non existent. Except in Japan. She was big in Japan in the 90s. Not the entire continent.

Asia has huge album sales, wyd? Mariah is extremely global even if Europe is lacking.

OT: Britney below Little Mix? Sure streams and the peak of digital sales have made it easier than ever to get certifications, but this just highlights that the U.K. is up there with Germany for worst market ever.

How's that possible ? UK certifications are automatically updated by BPI (unlike the US where the label has to request them)
