NY TIMES: “Invasion of Privacy” also had the highest streaming week ever for a female artist, with 202.6 million streams of tracks from the album, beating Beyoncé, who logged 115 million for “Lemonade” two years ago. In addition to the streams, “Invasion of Privacy” had 103,000 sales as a complete album, on formats like CD and download.

  • Debut single multi-week #1, over 5 times platinum with tons of longevity and Grammy noms. Second single platinum. I Like It already top 10, Be Careful rising.
  • Three additonal top 5 features (No Limit, Motorsport, and Finesse).
  • The album is also very acclaimed, with an 84 on Metacritic, with Pitchfork placing her in "the pantheon of great rappers".

She's also become America's sweetheart, constantly going viral and getting tons of positive headlines since announcing her pregnancy

She also upstaged some of the headliners in crowd attendance at Coachella last weekend and may again this Sunday.

Umm Lauryn Hill?  :skull:

She sold 15M worldwide, won AOTY and was extremely global. Her album even sold a million in Japan, her peak is untouchable.

Yeah it is, I definitely didn't expect her to do so well.

I think it ties with Animal and Pure Heroine. The biggest era for a female rapper this decade for sure, though.
