Hello,

I just gave the second tip in my life. Because basically in the uk tips are not as common in the USA.

The other  time I tipped the 3 course meal came to £33 and I tipped the cute waitress £5

this time in a different restaurant because they played a Britney song I tipped them £6.50 when the meal came to £13.50

both times I was alone.

Ps. Apologies for putting this in the wrong section, it was a mistake

Are you kidding? It’s common courtesy to tip everywhere in the U.K. and a lot of places even include service charge. But good for you either way.

It's not common for me. Or anyone I know only tips if the service is good. In the USA you are pressured to tip

I'm literally doing it everyday, it's not that common here either, but I feel like a cheap **** when I don't tip :skull:
