Because NBTS peaked on Spotify in january(#4) and was in the top 10/20 for like a month and it was removed from TTH like a week ago so of course it falls

Are we really gonna drag it’s iTunes position? The ACM(or whatever) JUST happened  :ace:  Compare to Finesse which has WAY more airplay(51 on iTunes)

Radio took too long, hence why the song went top 10 in other countries months ago and it’s barely peaked in the US

New Rules and Bad At Love had similar runs in the US

You mean when the album was released and when it was on many playlists?

The song has been pretty low on Spotify for like 2 months compared to its airplay

Not really it was top 30 on US Spotify for every week in March, not bad for a pop song considering the US Spotify Top 10 is usually all urban

I think the new releases are overshadowing NBTS on Spotify so that’s why she’s not in there anymore. But yes we been knew that she’s payola’d

lol there are over 10 country songs above it on itunes bc the ACM Awards were last night but of course you didn't mention this when doing this thread. This is doing amazing on itunes, consistently top 10/top 15 for a long time now despite all the huge releases recently

And like people have mentioned, the song peaked on streaming months ago (reaching #4, which is huge for a pop song) because streaming platforms work differently and two songs by the same artist can slay at the same time. Radio waited until Havana had gone recurrent to start pushing NBTS, which affected the song's chart run on the Hot 100 bc it didn't slay at both metrics at the same time so basically you're just proving the opposite: if anyone was to payola this, they'd do this at the same time and assure her a huge hit on the Billboard charts.

why no thread for Bruno or The Weeknd?

Finesse:

Airplay - 138.227m (it got a -15m update today? :rip:)

iTunes - 51 (kinda bad for Bruno standards)

Spotify - 77

Pray For Me:

Airplay - 118m

iTunes - 50

Spotify - 54

And those are with huge streaming features Cardi B and Kendrick

but of course ATRLers thread it for Camila once NBTS is removed from TTH + a bunch of country songs knock it down on iTunes :deadbanana:

I'm just shocked at this weak attempt of accusing her of payola because it shows the opposite, that her label/team didn't have any control over the timing of this song's run. At least other theories of how payola'd Camila was came from smarter people :deadbanana2:

Whatever, ATRL doesn’t matter lmao this site has hated her HARD since her 5H days and has been wishing to see her flop since she went solo

Sorry OCCH :fan: She’s gonna keep slaying

At least they had the CITC era :cm:

It's just hilarious how ATRL spent months accusing her of Spotify payola and now that this song is slaying on itunes, Shazam (this wasn't mentioned here but NBTS was #2 on Shazam US last week) and radio but it's not even on Today's Top Hits or any big playlists anymore they're doing the exact opposite and accusing her of radio payola bc of no Spotify support  :deadbanana4:

No, radio does not rely on streaming on which song to play.

As to iTunes, it's getting more dead so it's getting close to irrelevancy.

I for one am not defending Camilla because her playlist support on Spotify is amazing. Do I know if it's payola? No. Who really knows? :michael:

even the general public feels something is off, every time I see an article about her most comments say stuff like "why do I feel like she is being shoved down our throats"

So yeah

The thing is this strategy might backfire big time, because at a certain point she will have to stand on her own 2 feet without payola and if she flops thats loads of money the invested in her going down the drain:toofunny2:

Nnn gather them :dies:

This just proves her team is dumb and doesn't know how to align her Sales, Radio, and Streaming peaks like a competent team would.

Right? If they had this money for payola like these people claim or at least some huge connections they'd at least keep this on Today's Top Hits for a couple more weeks to assure a top 10 peak on the Hot 100 bc now it feels almost impossible.
