It’s a little thing called lack of taste - not everybody has that

This may be my favourite album of theirs. I'M SHOCKED. I hold such a profound love for Ceremonials, I mean, the time the album came out... it just could not have been better and Shake It Out is one of my favourite songs of all times, I could listen to it all day every day and I will not have enough (I was even singing it to myself all day today!), but High As Hope is just slowly but surely getting there, and unlike Ceremonials, there are no fillers (sorry Lovers to Lovers, Breaking Down). I'm aware that High As Hope is still a fresh material, who knows how I'll feel about it in few months or years, but wow. Every day, when I'm listening to the album I notice new thing, new sound, new little detail in her voice.. something that keeps me highly interested. :heart2:

And to add to my collection I just ordered High As Hope limited cassette. :jonny:

I actually like the "meandering" feel of SLF. The melody is like recitative - musical speech - because it sounds like a poem or diary entry. But, its that mood + atmosphere and ocassionally the melody that make it so good.
