Hi guys! I was just looking at Bey’s stats from chartmasters and it said that B’Day sold 6.1M by the end of 2016. Did it really sell 400K in 2017?

ChartMasters is off, B'Day has been at 6.5M for several years now. They are slightly off with a couple of her album's pure sales.

B'Day clearly hasn't sold 6.5M. 6,25M at the most.

It reached 6.5M quite a few years ago.

B’Day is well above 8M. Even Wikipedia states that.

Bday already passed the 6.5M mark years ago. These so call chart experts stay underestimating her album sales. He's i n the same boat as mediatraffic.

I doubt Chartmasters is off. Just ask MJD about a mistake and he'll probably clock you with receipts. If you're right tho, he will fix it.

B'day was shipped 5.7m as end of 2017 and it's her worst catalog seller.

6.1m is fair number.

and obviously MJD who has been tracking chart and data thorugh decades, know much about bunch of us here who rely on fake twitter and random fansite fake numbers.

There’s professional who said that it sold over 6.5M they have been tracking music for years so there’s no of telling the exact number

I don’t think Chartmasters is off. People think B’Day is +6.5M because of the years of people inflating its numbers.

And the Wikipedia claim of 8M is laughable. Wikipedia is rarely reliable when it comes to sales.

And the pure sales for Single Ladies in the OP make no sense. It was confirmed to be 11.2M by the IFPI and its YT numbers alone add an extra 4M units.

Didn’t even notice SPS figures. You’re right.  I’m sure @MrLovett will fix it.

Queen Bey's Top 3 singles in the UK have all achieved more than one million combined sales. Her biggest single is Halo, which, despite peaking at Number 4 in 2009, has 1.2m combined sales. If I Were A Boy, the chart-topping lead to her I Am... Sasha Fierce album, is second on 1.1m, closely followed by her Number 1 solo debut Crazy In Love on 1.03m.

Beyoncé's biggest collaboration is her 2008 hook-up with Lady Gaga, Telephone (846,000), though Jay-Z collab Drunk In Love from her self-titled collection is less than 2,000 behind.

Her 2008 album I Am... is the best represented in the list with six entries here (unsurprising as it's her best-selling album with 1.67m sales), while just one song from Lemonade, Hold Up, appears at 22.
