As if Chained isn't a catchy pop song, with a catchy video, with plenty of promotion. Lets not...

It is a catchy song, but it's still just a classic pop song with a rap feature. Lady Gaga went with the tropical house-ish/EDM trend to appeal to the Chainsmokers crowd.

Coldplay/Chainsmokers are gonna block Kygo/Selena from #1 on Pop I think

You forgot Lady Gaga recorded a Chainsmoker reject, wich is clearly the go-to song if you want a hit. He said pure pop, wich The Cure is not.

lol The Cure is pop as hell.. The Cure is definitely PURE POP. It has that breezy early 00's sound to me.

There really isn't anything similar to The Chainsmokers honestly IMO. I mean, are people forgetting Eh, Eh? She's done this before.

Maroon 5 almost being top 10 on airplay when they're #61 on Spotify despite 61 million playlist followers + #50 (and dropping) on iTunes :toofunny3:

I still can't understand why Scars To Your Beautiful was/is doing so well on radio. It's airplay to sales ratio was actually insane.

IDWLF was/is doing way worse on radio, but it obliterated STYB in sales and streaming. IIRC scars also had weak callout scores.

Can anyone explain to me why STYB was given such a "special treatment" on radio?

Because people liked the song? And then radio kept playing more and more?

Also Alessia is a radio darling, Here did amazing on radio too. Stay is also doing great and even Wild Things did okay considering it was a flop.

Not true at all, Scars even topped the callout scores for one week.

Fantastic callout scores. Lowest burnout rate during its charting

It even dethroned Shape of You for #1 in callouts at one point.

Late, but with Both going #1 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay that means Drake has 22 #1's and 57 Top 10's since his debut 8 years ago. :jonny4:

19 #1's and 38 Top 10's on Rhythmic. Passionfruit will be the 39th T10 next week + likely 20th #1.

For Mediabase, use bcharts (a Portugese site)

For Soundscan, Kworb is more accurate I believe (but it doesn't track recurrent songs I believe)

Woah at IAM being Top 5 already!

Stay should take 4-5 days to enter the Top 10.

Scars' longevity tho :clap3:

So Bruno will probably top Pop tomorrow :duca: Also the overall gap between "Shape Of You" and "That's What I Like" is getting smaller - 28M now.
