It is so odd to see it taking off like this out of nowhere. I heard it and it was... ok, lowkey forgotten and the streams are... underwhelming.

This will be interesting to see if Canada will accept this. They have never played a lead Morgan Wallen song on Pop radio. Only IHSH got airplay here because of Post Malone. Even Last Night was ignored, radios chose to play Fast Car that summer instead. But Tate is our Canadian princess so we'll see. So far it's got no pop airplay.

Haven Madison  was a finalist on American Idol in 2023 and came in 8th place. she is one of the few in recent years to get a hit after being on the show.

Sometimes it looks like Canadian Pop radio is one of the least diverse formats.

A Bar Song was massive on pop. And now I keep hearing that new Myles Smith country track. So it's not the country thing, I don't think.

Last Night got no Canada CHR airplay? LN was a #1 H100 song there. So the consumption justified the airplay. Clearly 1 station in town could play it & the other 1 didn't was the way to handle it. Not having both stations block the song from its airwaves.

There's still 4k spins gap with #1 and #2 and by the time #2 catch up , Ordinary will pass it and stay there for at least 5-6 weeks. 

And i dont believe sports car or abracadabra have that time their lifetime on pop radio charts 

But its still so exciting to watch whats gonna happen in the next 3 weeks

sports car is already on Week 19 in the Top 40. I don't know how much longer it can be pushed. If it's going to #1, it needs to be pushed as hard as it can now.

I dont believe that because both sports car and abracadabra is at their 17th and 18th week on hot100, both are Top20 hits and almost ready to go recurrent soon. They're not getting that much push either. So…

Whats the point of topping pop radio while not charting on Hot100?
