They were like at least three years ago because of pre-order mechanic there.

I fail to see why These Days could dethrone God's Plan though, Drake's team can discount the song at its 11th week to prevent being "accelerated", while These Days is already discounted and had live performance...

Even One Dance was #1 for 15 weeks :rip:

Shape of You, a more recent one, was #1 for 14 weeks.

This hasn't been true for literally 3 years :rip:

Anyhow, I didn't think it was going to be possible, but Drake is 260k ahead in streams today but down to 33% of Rudimental on iTunes so it could happen :duca:

Which means they could hit #1 before ACR takes effect :duca:

When Drake get slashed by streaming rule, she’ll get that #1 for sure

Oh damn I forgot about that!

Ugh I'm so conflicted by that though, I hate that the OCC is essentially systematically sabotaging long-running #1s - they're popular for a reason and that shouldn't be disregarded - but I also don't enjoy seeing songs stay at #1 for months on end :katie:

Without ACR knocking Drake it's not going to happen tbh, the iTunes lead is minimal when it's like only 2-3k daily.
