As GAYLE releases her new single, "ur just horny", her #1 smash hit "abcdefu" collects a second week at #1. Adele's "Oh My God" still benefits from the music video effect and scores a new peak at #2, letting "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)" slip at #3. "When I'm Gone" by Alesso and Katy Perry jumps from #9 to #4, overtaking SZA's "I Hate U", up at #5. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" keeps on growing at a very fast peace and earns 10 more positions entering the Top 10 at #7. Lauren Spencer-Smith enters the Top 20 with her "Fingers Crossed", up at #14. Astrid S and Dagny reach a new peak at #20 with their song "Pretty". Muni Long's viral hit, "Hrs and Hrs" is our hot shot debut of the week at #22. Among debuts we also have another track off of the Encanto Soundtrack: "Surface Pressure" by Jessica Barrow. Sofia Carson's new single "LOUD" debuts at #37, while Avril's track off of her Love Sux album, "Love It When You Hate Me", debuts at #56. Noa Kirel makes her comeback with the song "Thought About That" entering at #70. Lali's "Disciplina" charts a bit lower at #76. With the christmas songs finally dropping out a few old songs are climbing back a little but with the new year starting to give us more releases things will change quickly in the upcoming weeks. "When I'm Gone" becomes Katy's third and Alesso's first #1 on the cart. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is in the meantime still approaching fast and it's up at #4. If "Easy On Me" is about the leave the Top 10 (it is down at #10), "Fingers Crossed" is one step away from entering it, as it grows at #11. Hot shot debut award for "Santo" by Christina Aguilera and Ozuna as the song debuts at #14. "Hrs And Hrs" by Muni Long, "Surface Pressure" by Jessica Barrow and "Tears In The Club" by FKA twigs all enter the Top 20 for the first time at #16, #17 and #20 respectively. "Head On Fire" by Sigrid and Griff debuts at #25, while "ur just horny" by GAYLE starts at #32. "Put On Repeat" by Sabrina Claudio debuts at #36. We love to talk about Bruno. The smash song off the Encanto Movie Soundtrack, "We Don't Talk About Bruno", has enough power to dethrone Katy Perry and reach the top spot, letting "When I'm Gone" slip at #2 after just on week spent at #1. "Fingers Crossed" by Lauren Spencer Smith enters the Top 10 with a jump from #11 to #07. Anitta's "Boys Don't Cry" is the highest new entry of the week with an impressive #8 debut (the biggest of the year, so far). Both "Circles Around This Town" and "Head On Fire" make their entrance in Top 20, by climbing at #19 and #20 respectively. "Beg For You" by Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama debuts at #36 while "DFMU" by Ella Mai enters at #38. Ally Brooke debuts just outside the Top 40 as her single "Por Ti" enters at #41. We still are not talking about Bruno at the top of the chart! "We Don't Talk About Bruno" charts for a second week at #1, still ruling over "When I'm Gone" (#2) and "Oh My God" (#3). "Boys Don't Cry" climbs at #4 and lets "abcdefu" slip at #5. "Fingers Crossed" reaches at new peak at #6. "Do We Have A Problem?", the Nicki Minaj comeback single, debuts at #9, becoming the second biggest debut of the year. "Santo", by Christina Aguilera d Ozuna, climbs at #10 and blocks "Hrs and Hrs" (up at #11) from entering the Top 10 aswell. It has to be noted that this week's update is the one affected by the Sanremo Festival and you can tell by looking at amount of the Italian songs debuting, including the winning song (and Italian Eurovision entry for 2022) "Brividi" (#52). The highest one is "Ogni Volta E' Così" by Emma (new at #29), followed by "Duecentomila Ora" by spanish singer Ana Mena (new at #35). Other than the Sanremo Festival ones, other songs debuting are by Tate McRae ("she's all i wanna be"), Jennifer Lopez & Maluma ("Marry Me") and Queen Naija with Big Sean ("Hate Our Love"). A huge load of new entries. As 2022 in music starts to be hotter and hotter each week, the chart is flooded with very strong new entries, taking spots once occupied by songs that are now starting to free fall. But let's start from the top! "We Don't Talk About Bruno" occupies the #1 sport for a third week in a row, once again followed, at #2, by former #1 "When I'm Gone", by Katy Perry and Alesso. "Boys Don't Cry" by Anitta climbs to a new peak at #3. Also getting a new peak is "Fingers Crossed" by Lauren Spencer-Smith, up at #4. After its top 10 debut last week, "Do We Have A Problem?" by Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby climbs at #6. With "Bussin" debuting at #10 this week, the power rapper couple gets the second Top 10 debut in a row. Very strong debut also for "Closer" by Saweetie and H.E.R. as the track enters the chart at #12. And if "All Too Well" slips out of the top 10, falling at #11, another Taylor's song is approaching the Top 10 after just one week: "The Joker And The Queen", by Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, debuts at #14. "She's All I Wanna Be" by Tate McRae climbs at #27 following the music video premiere. The visual release helps "Beg For You" aswell, as the track by Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama jumps at #30.  "Let Somebody Go" by Coldplay and Selena Gomez and "MAMIII", by Becky G and Karol G, debut at #36 and #39 respectively. "Growing On Me" by Foxes starts at #44 while K. Michelle's comeback single, "Scooch", debuts at #48. As you can see the first half of the chart is very busy and things aren't different for the second half. Camila and Ed are once again at the top spot with a very strong amount of points. "Bam Bam" does in fact chart for third week in a raw at #1. "Sweetest Pie" thanks to a growing airplay and huge stability jumps from #6 to #2, letting "she's all i wanna be" leave its peak position and fall at #3. "Do We Have A Problem?", in the meantime, is starting losing points but still manages to hold as it loses just one spot and charts at #4. Great jump for "Freaky Deaky": the Tyga x Doja collaboration rises from #11 to #6, entering the Top 10 for the first time. "Fair", by Normani, debuts at #11. It represents a little bit of a dowgrade from last year when "Wild Side" debuted at #2, but the song ammassed a very decent amount of points with such a great debut. "Good Luck" by Mabel debuts at #17 while "Blick Blick", the very first entry for Coi Leray, starts at #25, also thanks to the Nicki Minaj feature. Carrie Underwood's comeback single, "Ghost Story", debuts at #35. Following the release of the MOTOMAMI album, la ROSALIA scores two more charting hits with "CANDY" (#59) and "HENTAI" (#88).
