Taylor and Rihanna :clap3:

Wish the RIAA was automatic updates. It’s tragic to see people like Jason Derulo having bigger sales than my fave :emofish:

According to RIAA, Taylor has 126M in songs where she is credited as lead, Rihanna has 125M

Where ?

& that's with the fact that Taylor's are fully up-to-date (unlike Rih's)

Yes so why do you wanna count those, while still excluding the rest of Rih’s features ?

If you’re gonna count IDWLF (a duet) under Taylor’s total then we might as well count TIWYCF & Wild Thoughts under Rih’s since she basically sings the entirety of those songs (more than she does in Lemon)

Because in those 3 they are credited as lead

TIWYCF & Wild Thoughts are features

Don't act like you don't know the difference between a feature and a lead, user istan4badgalriri

Anyway...

Rihanna: #1.

I would love to see where Mariah Carey and Madonna would be with updated certifications.

The RIAA clearly doesn't consider I Don't Wanna Live Forever nor Lemon as lead songs for Taylor & Rihanna, since they aren't included in their totals on their website.

No need to try and switch things just to have Taylor at 1 million units ahead of Rihanna, just because Taylor remains 4 million units behind her, according to the RIAA, and y'all don't like it.

And that's with the fact that all of her certifications are up-to-date.

Will be a kii when Rihanna updates her, considering that she's already ahead, with more than 20 undercertified songs.

Nobody is getting clocked over here, but y'all.

Taylor being the only one to remotely come close to the legends when it comes to albums, everyone else being a quick lil singles artist :rip:

Halsey is correct in the OP, but I made a mistake with Lorde (with her albums) - it's correct now. Thanks.

Added. Thanks.

I update the OP with some new females mentioned above. As for the females already included in the list: Rihanna is nearing to 200M records sold while Nicki Minaj will be ahead of Mariah Carey when anything of her features/solo songs will at least get certified Gold.

Selena Gomez and Halsey also got some of theirs songs certified but they did not move a spot.

Cardi B moves 1 spot ahead of Lorde and Cher.
