In its first two weeks on the chart, both at the summit, the song has logged two of the five-biggest streaming weeks of all time, even gaining to 83.3 million U.S. clicks, according to Nielsen Music, in its second frame. With airplay kicking in rapidly, and its official video likely on the way, is the song an early contender for one of 2018's biggest year-end hits? https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/podcasts/8098761/drake-gods-plan-hit-songs-deconstructed-chart-beat-podcast Hmmm.... They are using Uptown Funk logic here, so BB could be right on the money. Remember, in 2015, people were writing Gary toward the end of UF's #1 run asking if UF already had #1 in the bag. Gary had to agree with them that it would be very difficult to replace a song that was not only #1 for so long, but was also so strong for that long in every metric (all 10 wks +, I think 9 in a row with all of them at #1). Of course, UF and SOY are neck & neck for #1 of the 2010s, even if BB doesn't adjust the formula to address songs hurt by 25/52, followed by Closer, Despacito, and PRA.
