Songs/albums that hit #1 on every official chart WW?

The 22 acts with more than one diamond album (which is difficult to get not everyone has that) inspired me to inquire about another feat.

Is there a list of songs that hit #1 on every official chart for every country it charted in?

All  I can think of off the top of my head were:

Whitney's Bodyguard soundtrack album and I will always love you hitting #1 on every chart

Britney's Baby one more time peaking at #1 on every country it charted in.

With a  quick look at some stats and I found

Albums peaking at #1 on every official chart WW:

Bodyguard soundtrack - Whitney

True blue - Madonna

Confessions - Madonna

Hard candy - Madonna

All the way...a decade of songs - Celine Dion

21 - Adele

25 - Adele

Singles peaking at #1 on every official chart WW:

I will always love you

My heart will go on

Baby one more time

Happy

Yeah!

Hips don't lie

Because, LEGENDS!

So far, Whitney and Celine repping for both albums and singles...they continue to shake the table and let the dust particles fall...

Please let me know if there are more!

EDIT: Removed Born this way (Gaga) Hello (Adele) after confirmation of non #1 peaks

Newer albums are at a huge disadvantage because there are so many more charts now. BTW (the album) went top 5 everywhere and #1 in 80%+ of all countries and still missed this.

I remember Madonna's "Hung Up" topped the charts in a record number of countries. But it didn't go #1 in the US.

edit: It peaked at #2 in Ireland and New Zealand too.

Also, Adele's "Hello" peaked at #3 in Portugal and #17 in Japan. So it didn't hit #1 on every chart.

Oh ok. I will remove it then. The source I was looking at only showed 12 or so countries tbh but I'm glad you all are here to fact check and I will make the necessary updates

I really doubt some of these songs peaked at number 1 in Japan or Korea i.e. Hips don't lie.

Of course Japan ****s up for Hello, literally no western artist, that arent dressed as a hello kitty/sailor moon mashup, can succeed there anymore....

but STILL, 2/3 Adele albums has made this unique feat :alexz: only her indie debut couldnt

But... Yeah ! actually missed the top spot in several countries. It's easy to check up.

not even IWALY was #1 everywhere. I dont think any was tbh but that Hello might be closest in regards to official charts (27 #1's or smt like that)

How about Blurred Lines? We Belong Together? Uptown Funk? Somebody Like You? I know RITD stalled at #2 in the UK.
