Mediatraffic is really underestimating ASIB, like i don't even consider TAIWAN and Latin America and rest of ASIA and EU there

At least we're halfway of TGS.. :jonny5:

Germany, France and Australia, this is really unexpected. If only could UK and Japan sell much more, the 5M mark is on locked.

wow. so we're actually almost x2 platinum in France and not so far from platinum in Germany, that's huge. she must be elegible for some certification in Sweden as well. surprised we're not platinum already in Italy as shallow is.

Japan sales are bad. she must do a promo tour there with her next album cause japanese pure sales are already almost as big as those of the US, its a big market and she shouldn't miss out.

CANADA as well :jonny5:

I am hoping for a 300k units from Germany, Australia, France and Canada.. it is doing ok in the UK, i actually see it doing 600k-700k in the UK which is very good and 2M-3M SPS in the US..

Japan's reception has been BAD this era tho

I believe ASIB is gonna be around 1.650.000 in the USA by the end of the award season, once there its gonna be interesting how the Soundtrack is gonna sell when the movie is completely out of theatres and the award boosts ends, if it has at least half of the longevity TGS OST had, then x2 platinum and the USA and beyond is on lock.

Japan is only here for popGa. It is understandable though.

Thanks for the effort! The fact Shallow has been on top of the iTunes WW chart for so long and hasn't even crossed 1.5M is a shame but hopfully like 6M SPS when all is said and done

I didn't see if anyone was keeping a handy list of the week-by-week Billboard 200 breakdown for A Star Is Born, so I'll try to keep one updated every week as we get new numbers (or at least positions once it drops out of the Top 10 eventually). (Remember that these are Billboard SPS numbers, which are different than RIAA SPS numbers - Billboard weighs paid and free streams differently while RIAA does not, and RIAA also counts official YouTube streams and pre-release SEA and TEA, while Billboard does not.)

Week 1: 231,000 SPS (162,000 Pure Sales) [#1 BB200, #1 Top Album Sales]
Week 2: 143,000 SPS (86,000 Pure Sales) [#1 BB200, #1 Top Album Sales]
Week 3: 109,000 SPS (61,000 Pure Sales) [#1 BB200, #3 Top Album Sales]
Week 4: 93,000 SPS (52,000 Pure Sales) [#2 BB200, #2 Top Album Sales]
Week 5: 79,000 SPS (45,000 Pure Sales) [#2 BB200, #1 Top Album Sales]
Week 6: 68,000 SPS (35,000 Pure Sales) [#5 BB200, #5 Top Album Sales]
Week 7: 62,000 SPS (38,000 Pure Sales) [#4 BB200, #5 Top Album Sales]
Week 8: 53,000 SPS (~30,000 Pure Sales) [#4 BB200, #3 Top Album Sales]
Week 9: 48,000 SPS (27,000 Pure Sales) [#7 BB200, #3 Top Album Sales]
Week 10: 55,000 SPS (35,000 Pure Sales) [#4 BB200, #4 Top Album Sales]
Week 11: 64,000 SPS (42,000 Pure Sales) [#3 BB200, #1 Top Album Sales]
Week 12: 62,000 SPS (~40,000 Pure Sales) [#4 BB200, #1 Top Album Sales]

Week 15: 40,000 SPS (22,000 Pure Sales) [#6 BB200, #1 Top Album Sales]
TOTAL: 1,188,000 SPS (~719,000 Pure Sales)

TOTAL RIAA Estimate: ~1,237,107+ SPS

BB200 Chart Run: #1 - #1 - #1 - #2 - #2 - #5 - #4 - #4 - #7 - #4 - #3 - #4 - #10 - #7 - #6

It amazed me that the long run for ASIB ST (in SPS) could be matching BTW’s US sales :jonny4:

You did a super good job. :clap3:

It amazed me that the long run for ASIB ST (in SPS) could be matching BTW’s US sales :jonny4:

I did some conservative calculations and I think it might be able to about match Born This Way's pure sales (in SPS of course) by the 2020 Grammys. :clap3: I also really really want this to reach a million pure copies, she hasn't done that since Born This Way and it is TIME. :jonny:

In Denmark? I don't know how far is the album from Platinum, but Platinum in Denmark is 20,000.
