Adapted straight from Simon Cowell's hit television show The X Factor, this game aims to replicate everything you know and love about the show (depending on how many sign-ups we get!) The Basics We start the game with a number of contestants. Each round, contestants must have to send in an audio (or video, if you prefer) cover of them singing a song (or if allowed for the round, an original song). The minimum length will be 90 seconds (TBC).THE X FACTOR FORMATFour Chair Challenge Each judge will be given a category of acts. Unlike the real show, these categories will be randomised due to the lack of females and near-impossibility of "groups" on ATRL. The four-chair challenge will work as the "audition" and each judge will pick four acts from their category to take through to the next round. Judges Houses Each judge now has their category of 4 acts from six-chair challenge. Each act will sing a song of their choice and based on this, the judges will each choose a category of 3 acts to take through to the live shows. There will also be wildcards!Live Shows Each week, all acts will perform a song based on a theme. The judges mentor their category of 3 acts throughout. Then, after the performances, the judges and will vote on who should go through, and after this, the bottom 3 will be announced. The public will choose an act to save from the bottom 3, and the judges will then choose an act to save from the bottom 2.
