I can imagine good and bad coming out of its disappearance, depending on how AutoTune is used. On the one hand, it certainly covers up a lot of flaws in vocal performance. But so much interesting artistry has come out of it too -- specifically, an album like "808s and Heartbreak."
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS OF STANNING (by stevensaurusrex): 1. Thou shalt honor thy fave with all thy heart. 2. Thou shalt only stan for one fave, and one fave only. 3. Thou shalt not throw shade at another's fave unless shade is thrown at your fave first. 4. Thou shalt not go for someone else's wig unless thy wig is upset first. 5. Thou shalt remember fellow stans if they are banned. 6. Thou shalt not mock Lord Beysus for stealing songs- or Beysus will come for thy fave's songs as well and make them relevant. 7. Thou shalt not say Ciara is irrelevant- or she will cutteth thee open like a surgeon. 8. Thou shalt not say Goddess Britddha is a talentless *****- she will punish thee with the "Mannequin" choreography. 9. Thou shalt not drag the haters tew hard, for fear of bringing a bad name to thy fave. 10. Thou shalt remember- Raven >>>>>>>
Pop music would be boring without AutoTune. Pop without AutoTune is like Rock without a guitar.
It would be authentic without it, IMO.

I think Beck will win. Beyoncé will win only 3-4 Grammys - Best R&B Song, Best R&B Performance, Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Surround Sound Album. She will lose Album of the Year and Best Music Film (to the Oscar winning 20 Feet From Stardom).
If we lost autotune artists would be required to be able to hold a note which realistically isn't going to happen for everyone. Singers aren't what they used to be, in the good ole day's singers did not have to be gorgeous models because their beauty was in the voice but nowadays it seems to be more important to look good in a bikini than to be a real musician
