DRjuss06's Daily Top 25, July 2nd, 2012
Rihanna's "Where Have You Been" becomes the 1st song to reach 40 days on top while also becoming the longest-running song for a single year taking the title away from Lady Gaga's "The Edge Of Glory" which spent 34 days on top in 2011. WHYB has spent 36 out of its 40 days on top in 2012.
Kelly Clarkson waits @ #2 while another song by her moves into the Top 5. "Honestly" becomes Kelly's 7th Top 5, in fact all of her charted songs have reached the Top 5 and only "Dark Side" and now this song are the only not to reach the Top spot, at least not yet
Somebody That I Used To Know retires today from the chart. The song ends its run as the 4th longest consecutive stay @ #1, the 4th longest consecutive stay in the Top 10 and the Longest running #1 for a male artist among other things. I love this song to say the least.
Flo Rida debuts his 2nd song in the chart with "Whistle" @ #20, the song is catchy Ok? lol
Carly Rae debuts her 2nd with her collabo with Owl City who is welcomed to the chart for the first time. Cher Lloyd returns to the chart with her 3rd charted title after "Swagger Jagger" (#6), and With Ur Love (#3).
