Well that's supposed to be the "real" meaning (I assume), but a lot of his lyrics are very open-ended and symbolic, and I think he's getting at something else too.

"Grey matter" is a metaphor in the first verse for the brain, while "Pink matter" represents the essence of a woman. He's going on about how his girl isn't matching up with these ideals of how a woman should behave/relate to a man, and then after Legend 3000's verse, he's reminiscing about the relationship; going back to the colors metaphor, how that relationship in particular taught him about women in general, leading to him turning to guys/discovering that he's bi.

Or at least that's how I took it when I really paid attention to the lyrics for the first time.
