Like I said, she's just there. Some big hits (a few many people probably can't remember). About 5 successful films, A couple of solid selling albums (nothing extraordinary). Only a few awards.

Mariah's a respected vocalist but that's about it. Her music has always been regarded as generic fluff, she hasn't ever put out a critically acclaimed piece of work. Mariah hasn't toured much either, and when she did it flopped, her movie career is infamous for failure, she's never been a media sensation in any way, and her impact all around is neglible.

JLo wins. She's a huge A list star. And worth much more than Mariah.
