Nicki Minaj sits at her vanity. She inserts her blue contacts and brushes her long, straight, platinum blonde wig. Her skin glows white with foundation. She adjusts her breast implants in her tank top and squeezes her butt implants into a pair of tight jeans. Then she picks up her phone to tweet that she was snubbed by the VMAs because the media favors white-friendly images and supports negative body images.
So happy she's healthier and better and happier. I loved reading her thoughts and the fact that she really cares about practicing what she preaches.
Hopefully more and more people will read this and respect her more--and realize she's more than just the party image.

it's amazing how people like gaga, britney and katy tried to dress up their albums behind marketing white noise by calling them 'spiritual', 'personal' and 'artistic', and yet Taylor swooped in unabashedly labelling her album as nothing more than 'pop' - the bane of the critic's existence - and yet she's emerged on top critically
I hope she truly means it when she says she's gotten over it, or at least gotten better... She's such a good person and I don't get why people would be mean to her I wish I could beat every ****er who took/shared/ talked about those beach pictures back in 2010/2011.

She should hang out with Taylor a little. She can relate to the pressures of being a female in the music industry. It is tough. Women often have esteem issues with their looks. It must be difficult to be in an industry where you have merchandise with your image everywhere you go. Such a situation must magnify any body esteem issues.
Just be yourself, Kesha. Whoever that is, being yourself is OK. Let your music do your talking and ignore the nay-sayers.
