This is the biggest career ending decision Geffen has made...this is the worst choice for single ever. Say goodbye to Ashlee's career.

According to a recent MusicMatch Online article, Ashlee Simpson (known for her SNL lip-synching mishap) is hitting the charts again: with a new single. The single is the dark ballad "Catch Me When I Fall" and the video has a meaning, too. "The video is really fitting to this song.” says 21-year-old Simpson "It's basically me walking around a big city late at night looking through various shop windows trying to find a part of me. It's very real. I am so excited!" A re-release of her October 2005 album I Am Me is in talks, too. The album features the hit singles "Boyfriend" and the dance-inspired song "L.O.V.E."
"Catch Me When I Fall" is scheduled for a May release.

I don't see why your so shocked, I mean she performed it on SNL, its on the sticker on the album that says something like 'Featuring The Singles", I mean did you not expect this?

I think she should keep it more real by making the video of clips from the SNL accident and all the news reports from it, than sections of her healing from it..

^ that would be a terrible video. The video she has in mind is terrible as well. This song is going to grow on me. Before I thought it was too slow, but nice, then I absolutely hated, now she might turn it around. We'll have to see.

I saw a fan video like that. It also had clips of her singing CMWIF on her other SNL trip.

Umm why doesnt she just re-release now with a new song? Her album is done, and it's going to be out of the top 200 by May when CMWIF is released.

I am an Ashlee fan who doesn't like ballads. I know she probably wants to prove she can sing like Christina Aguilera or Kelly Clarkson but she won't be able to pull it off. She will either need backup singers or her voice will be cracking because she won't be able to pull it off.

My first choice for single would have been I Am Me and my 2nd choice would be In Another Life...either of those songs would have been much better and also much better for a summer type song.
