At neither of your sources actually saying anything about an Android phone GETTING a virus, just hypotheticals. Just because a virus or threat exists doesn't mean everyone with an android phone is scared.
Seriously, what is wrong with you people? Do you think an extra feature on your iPhone is going to unlock if you bash Android? Do you not realize how dumb you look? You guys dont even know anything about phones, go away.

I definitely know a LOT about phones. Moreso than a lot of the basic defenders in here just saying foolishness after they read one tech blog article with a spec comparison chart. Hence why I'm not in here saying "____ >>>>>>>>>> _____" and actually adding to discussion. And MMarketPay infected 100k Chinese android phones a month or so ago. So it's definitely real. Just not completely widespread yet.

Like, I just really love my iPhone, I don't give a damn if my cool neighbor has one or if it's the cool thing to have. The iPhone 5 looks really great and if I upgrade, it's because I think it's a good product that will suite my lifestyle. The Samsung hipsters in here are doing too much....

Apple doesnt have eenough market share for someone to write a virus for any Apple product.
And what exactly did that Android virus do? It has to be a runtime script. Unix based OS' are almost impossible to infect (and yes, that includes OSX)
