Just feels like everybody sort of has a different definition of filler. My friend thinks fillers are songs that wouldn't perform well as singles, songs that she finds "Boring".

Somebody else i know thinks dance songs, and song purely meant for radio, are considered fillers.

What do YOU think?

I don't believe in fillers, most of the time. When I know information about an album, how long it took etc, sometimes I can see some song just being put on there to fill up an album. Not to start anything with the OP, but TTT is an example. A few songs that will be hits mixed with some random songs to create a whole album. #TeamLouder

Not necessarily the worst songs on the album. Fillers for me are the tracks that don't fit with the concept and or theme of the album whether good or bad.

Basically this, but I think depending on how good the filler is matters too. If it's still a really good song, it's probably a noteworthy addition to the artist's discography.

I guess it's simply songs that people don't use even though they like the album.

A song that has no identity or uniqueness. It doesn't seem like a lot of effort or time went into it. It has simple, overused lyrics. Nothing stands out about it.

No, a filler is just a song you can tell the artist didn't spend time on. It's an afterthought. There's nothing special about it.

Filler for me it's something like Electric Chapel or Fading. It's good, catchy and all but still no one really talks or care about it because it doesn't bring anything new to the cd.

Yes, exactly. It serves no purpose but to take up space on an album.
