Istanbul, such a beautiful city, with alot of culture and history not many people recognize, but the two continent thing may cause a problem

If not there then either Spain or Tokyo would be fine, I would be happy no matter which one is chosen.

It got short-listed, so obivously it isn't a problem.

Istanbul is even leading some polls, but its still more then a year before the vote so that could change.

And couldn't understand if Madrid would host...I know people say the Olympic Games will lead to an economical increase but I don't believe that. Spain should spend their money on much more important things.

The olympics don't always lead to an economic boost. Just ask Greece, the 2004 games are part of the reason their country is in the midst of a financial crisis.

And it took Montreal over 30 years to pay off their Olympics.

And this will be the third consective time Madrid has bid for the games. They lost the 2012 and 2016 games.

Just more reasons not to give the Olympics to Spain.

Istanbul would be really cool for diversity.

I wouldn't object to Tokyo, though, even though it's hosted before (and Japan had the games again in '98), just because I'm in love with the idea of it.
