Madonna's Fearless Fight for Freedom and Gay Rights
A fearless Madonna stood against government opression and for freedom of speech, taking the biggest stance a Pop Icon has taken in the imprisonment of the Russian Female Pop/Rock Band ***** Riot, even after the U.S. Embassy's warning of a possible attack on her MDNA Tour.
The young girls are facing up to 7 years in Prison for an anti Vladimir Putin performance and had pleaded Madonna to take a stance for their freedom.

Madonna referenced the band covering her face up just as they did when they made their infamous performance that got them detained, as a message of liberation and a stance against repression and censorship.

Under the international scrutiny that has been brought, the ***** Riot trial verdict was postponed to the 17th of August.
Madonna stood against the Anti-Gay Law in St. Petersburg on the 9th of August, where 'gay propaganda' is penalized, in a united protest with her fearless fans in her MDNA Show:
