The Billboard editor confirmed she is releasing in the fall. Dr. Luke probably wants like an August single release, while the management wants a September one. It's probably nothing too drastic in the difference.

This is the PERFECT time for Ke$ha
to release new single. None of the other relevant pop girls have new music released, not Britney, GaGa, Beyonce, Rihanna (WHYB is done), and Katy's WA is reaching its peak. Her only comoetition between the pop girls would be P!nk, and they have completely different sounds.

I swear, if RCA keeps delaying this it'll hurt the single.

I suppose it makes sense. Cannibal got lost in the shuffle when it was released because the competition was so strong, so they're probably afraid that will happen again. Maybe they'll wait till after the holiday season release craze.

Still, they could just plan for two pre-album singles and release the lead one in early September anyway.
