The song was nothing but a boring mess to me when I first listened to it.
And then THE VIDEO GOT RELEASED! It changed my views dramatically. Now, this song is my fave Rih song. Yeah. Cool story huh. Not many videos can achieve that. And THAT'S why it should get a VOTY nom and win it.

I can't really think of another video that is serious competition for WFL, tbh. It was a massive hit song, one of(if not the) biggest in the past year on top of having a critically acclaimed video. Maybe STIUTK but that is kinda different. WFL to me deserves to be the video of the year, imo.
