It's been brought to my attention that ATRL has started to make rules for everything and become more and more strict just like it was in highschool with things like posting a smilie or reporting too much. Do you think it's fair?

I think it's fair to get a WP for reporting too much. With a smiley response, I think some are pointless, but some aren't. Mostly the former though.

I mean if you have a trend of just using "" in all your posts, maybe a WP is necessary, but I hardly think its a major problem here

Smilie's can be annoying though. Like when someone says some weak ass shade and then you have to sit through pages of people quoting that with a " " smilie.

You used to be able to report people for using gifs but the mods dont give out WP's for it anymore... so they shouldn't do it for smiley's either

I don't know why using a smiley and whatnot is such a big deal. It's just a ****ing forum. Who gives two ***** if it's "pointless"? Isn't everything on here pointless at the end of the day? I dunno, I guess people just take it too seriously.

Oh my god yes. It'll be the lamest joke ever and everyone will quote it and use the laughing smilie even though a million people have already replied with the same exact thing. That should be considered spam tbh I can't stand that for much longer.

Usually I'm okay with it, but when I see the same post just using old shady posts, I start reporting. I think I only did it twice.

are like those videos on YouTube that have something like "Maven Takes
a Tumble at an Airport" as the title when the actual video is just some
vlogger talking about Maven taking a tumble at an airport without showing
the actual video of Maven taking a tumble at an airport. Make sense?
