It's a fact that in those states/countries where people are allowed to own a gun have a higher rate of murders and violence. Finally ppl needs to start realize this.

There have been studies done about more gun control laws leading to MORE violence so I don't know if more gun laws are the best way to go

I don't know how accurate that is. I mean, Switzerland for example has a pretty large amount of their population owning guns and their crime rate is relatively low. I think it might be a case of correlation not meaning causation, that is, while there may be a relationship between the two the cause is independent of them.

Only 4 shootings in KY and all of them were before 2010.. Now I know there's been more shootings then listed.. Do we know why they aren't listed?

Its not gun laws that will make a difference. Many people buy guns from the black market, and often from other countries. I think there needs to be more stricter security.

Um, we have relativetly strict gun laws in Canada and that hasn't lead to more violence here.

No; stricter laws and outlaw specific types of guns (like assault rifles, SMGs, etc). Making` guns completely illegal is just ludicrous, and wouldn't even remotely work in terms of enforcing it. It'd just give people more reason to break the law and by unofficial and undocumented matters.
