I don't know if "The Edge Of Glory" is the best song ever but its definetly the most important song of my life. There's no other song that makes me feel so happy like TEOG does and it has everything that i look for in a song (that melody, that production, the lyrics, the sax solo, the passion in Gaga's voice).

So, i really want to know what means TEOG for you guys. How it was your experience when you listened it for the first time? Are you still listening to it? This is your moment to say everything about this incredible song

This song is definitely one of the best of 2011 and is arguably one of Gaga's best songs. Everything about the song-her emotion, the lyrics, the instruments-all come together to produce a great, quality song. if it were up to me, this would have been the lead single of BTW, it would have reigned as the #1 song of America.for at least 4 weeks, and would have won Grammy's for the Record and Song of the Year. It truly deserved it ALL, and I can't say that about many pop songs.

I was underwhelmed when I first heard it but now it's one of my favorites.
It's euphoric. And I still hear it on radio from time to time, on adult contemporary stations... I think it will stand the test of time and become a Gaga classic in the future.

But I lost my granddad a few months before this was released. When I heard it it was about her granddad the song automatically had a special place in my heart. It truly helped me get over the death of my grandfather and I'm glad I will be able to keep him alive with such an amazing song. Miss you granddad.. xxxxxxx

this song plays at my job, and yea i might sing along but i really dont get the hype. i mean im obviously no gaga stan but i can admit when her songs are great, like the amazingly produced judas and the awesome marry the night. but teog never really did it for me.

Ugh. The Edge of Glory got paid dust this era. Being released as a promo single then all of sudden everyone thinks this is the 3rd single, so it gets rush released as an official single. Then the video became a wasted opportunity. The original concept w/ Joseph Khan was so interesting. They even built the sets and such but it all went to waste. Then to add on to all that, Interscope decides not to submit it to ROTY and SOTY at the Grammys and submit JUDAS. Mother****ing JUDAS instead. If BTW, MTN and TEOG were the first singles there was a huge chance at 3 #1's if they all got proper treatment.

Other than that the song is flawless and a stand out in her discography.

It would be even better if the "the edge, the edge, the edge..." part was cut out and it went straight to the short instrumental part between the 1st chorus and 2nd verse.
