Sharks facinate me. I live in South Australia where sharks have a history of going through local beaches, have shark patrols too. Its a risk entering the water, my feet always have to touch the ground. Even then I'm not safe The eyre peninsula is a hotspot for sharks in my state (5hours from me) where people shark dive.

I feel sad for the persons who have passed away in the last year, its an unusually high number

You guys I actually live in that city and it's not just one shark attack thats making people resort to this. Lately there's been several shark attacks and/ or sightings per week, and at popular beaches. People keep getting attacked, you guys in America are only hearing about this one because it was particularly brutal. Just saying, don't judge when you don't know anything about the situation.
