Without warning, The xx dropped the first single from their second studio album, Coexist this morning (Monday, July 16, 2012). The song "Angels", shows the band with even more of a grip on their already incredibly tight sound first discovered on their 2009 self-titled debut.
Stream the track below, via YouTube, or their website. Also, starting at Midnight tonight, an iTunes preorder of the album, due out on September 11, will be available, with "Angels" available to download immediately.

I just cringe when I hear those lyrics in "Oh Love!", but it's a really good pop song from them. "Settle Down" is just a mother****in' jam.
But yes, "Angels" takes the top prize. I just can't get enough of their sound.
