Not sure if most of ATRL has heard BMUS, but...
They're both mixtapes. Which one's better? Azealia's "Fantasea" or Nicki's "Beam Me Up Scotty"?

Fantasea.
Nicki's stans always talk about her mixtapes, but I think her post-mixtape, pre-Pink Frday features were easily her best work.

I'm currently about halfway through Fantasea, but so far, nothing has got me feeling the way I did when I heard tracks like Itty Bitty Piggy and I Get Crazy.

Beam Me Up Scotty is that one album of Nicki that I think can blow 'Fantasea' out of the park. 'Sucka Free' is better IMO as well, but the rest aren't any better. 'Fantasea' is very good.

I only use a few songs from BMUS, but I like every song on Fantasea. So I'm gonna vote for Fantasea.
Can Anybody Hear Me is one of my favorite songs ever, though.

I think what it comes down to me is taste in beats.
Nicki has a very...uninspired selection of beats generally on her mixtapes and albums. Her attempts at "trap rap" often just sound too cheap for my tastes.
Azealia showed a lot of variety on Fantasea, going from hoodrat hiphop to throwback house to moombahton, and seems to have a good ear for well produced, progressive, and innovative sounds, or good retro sounds to bring back.
Azealia's mixtape was also mastered and vocally produced way better than Nicki's. So crisp.
