I'm torn about this. I love Lindsay and I can't wait to see her in so many new movies (Liz & Dick, The Canyons) but if she is hoping to be taken seriously again I'm not sure Scary Movie 5 would be the best option. Let's face it, even if it's hilarious like the other 4 are it is going to get disastrous reviews like all of the movies have. Unless it's a cameo role (which I would be here for) I don't think this is a good idea.

To be honest, I'm still devastated that Anna Faris will not be appearing. How can Scary Movie happen without Cindy? It's just not right.

I agree. But Lindsay would be much better as some random new girl who trys to copy Anna.

Same here. But idk, I think it could be good for her because people love to see Lindsay in comedy. She started out in comedy. I think she should back away from the super dramatic roles and take on something light (like this) but on the same note it's not gonna help her with being taken seriously, esp if this movie gets horrible reviews which most of them do.

I think if she's going to do a comedy she needs to be careful. Go for something Jason Reitman styled like Juno, or a role in The Hangover 3. She could always go down the romantic comedy route. And Woody Allen recently said that he would love to cast her in a film. Spoof movies is not what she needs to be doing to get her career back on track.
