She is just very inconsistent. When in the last time she has had a back to back hit? Probably 2001 and 2002.
Since then, she just a few hits to keep her career afloat, but she's not an artist that U.S. stations would regularly play. She really has to impress in order to get played.

Nooo, I don't think so at all. Don't worry! I bet the single will be released around October, and the album in either December (to achieve high sales) or January (to achieve high chart positions). They WON'T release the album later than spring 2013, but even that is a stretch on the lateness. They know that time is ticking and the material is only fresh now.

I would say more like spring 2013, remember when she announced at the Latin vmas 2004 it was September that she was working on a new album, June 2005 Fijacion Oral vol.1 releases. But 1st single was not released till April. If she is pregnant we will know for sure at the iheart performance so I'm not really tripping' about that. To play a set of new songs to a crowd that big is a bit risqué if you ask me. But I'm sure the set list will be :

Loca
Inevitable
Hips don't lie
Waka Waka
Whenever, wherever
New song
Not in any particular order, who knows she might cancel.

I was so hoping that she'd be performing the new single at this year's VMAs, but I sincerely doubt it because we'd of heard something by now. The VMAs are only 2 weeks away and Shakira is currently trolling us by taking leisurely trips to museums in France.
