I remember in an interview Wayne or birdman said there going to take it to carter 6. But he needs to deliver on carter 5. Carter IV was built up to much and expectations were to high. Wayne should be off probation by the. And we know he gon be back on the syrup so maybe he will be back on that cater III flow?

true and i'm not trying to come at Lil Wayne because ik you are a stan but i felt like C4 was somewhat rushed in terms of lyrical ability and delivery, the beats were amazing but i remember i was in like 8TH grade when that album came out, people were giving him some big ass praise when he dropped that album !

Oop but i see what your saying i've said it myself he was better when he was on syrup but that's not good for him and he has stopped so i hope he can deliver a great album while sober

Me too I love how it was like one long song divided up. And I agree about the cough syrup bad for his health. Maybe use in moderation? Lol but Wayne has been putting in some pretty good guest verses particularly on keyshia Coles new song so maybe he will bring it on IANAHB2 and eventually carter V

I loved all those tracks too ! And President Carter & So Special were good too ! It was a good album but people label it as a 'disappointing album' Bc it wasn't as standout as Carter III ! Abortion sucked though

No, I want this album to be a "Wayne" album!
Let's say 16 songs. 10 solo and 6 with other rappers and singers. I want him to be creative, and make some great solo songs. Tell some stories, some real punchline songs, 2-3 songs about life with some chick on the hook etc.

I really think this album can be great if Wayne take a little break from the whole MMG/YMCMB camp and try something different.
But ofc, we need a Drake ft on the album.

I'd be here for it. I enjoyed some tracks off Tha Carter IV...but Wayne needs to bring it. He needs to focus on one project at a time and put all his effort into that. Step up his lyrics...I need some substance. A few bragging songs is fine, but otherwise, give me some substance. And top-notch features...I'm still upset I didn't get my Nicki feature on Tha Carter IV All in all, I'm slowly anticipating the album.

I enjoyed C4. I knew before I took a listen, I knew that the album would be nothing like C3 so I wasn't disappointed. Just like Eminem with Relapse and Recovery. I knew Recovery would be more mainstream than Relapse, so I enjoyed Recovery very much too. And people often say the album was weak just cuz other people say it was bad. C4 was a good album with many great songs. Ofc it wasn't like C3, but it was a good album.

And I can't wait for a new Weezy ft Eminem song!!!
