I think in the range of 150k-210k. I just hope it can last for a long while on the chart. If its anything like the Discipline era than it could be less successful. The only way for her to sell less is if she doesn't promote.

Why not? She's had impressive first week sales and positions in the past and the media's a lot kinder to her nowadays.

Depends on the material and if she gets people into it. I'm sure the fanbase will be online from the people who snatch it for free.

Come on guys she can. Discipline was released in February, which has sucky sales. If she releases in the late summer/early fall she can sell over 100k.

Not really, she still hardly gets radio play. Top 40 stations would play her lead single every now and then, and her second single won't get played. When it comes to singles she is in the same boat as Madonna. In other words, too old for the media.

2008 was a very different market. I wish OP would have included release dates cause it has a lot to do.
But I agree with you, if she releases in the right quarter she can go over 100k.

First week in the US?
probably not. More like 75k due to loyal fans.
but it depends if she has a decent lead song to generate interest.

I know that radio won't support her but she's still getting a lot of media attention, even though she's 46.

With a great lead single, she could do well over 100k.

I can't remember the last time a pop girl (past or present) debuted with anything under 100k, so yes.

If Discipline couldn’t push 200k with Feedback as its lead single, what makes you think she’ll do 100k+ with anything else? That should have been one of the biggest songs of her career. And just the fact that album sales are lower now than they were when Discipline was released means lower first week sales. The public is less invested in her than they were in 2008 also.
