Madonna, one of the most influential Pop albums of all time is really underappreciated and underestimated on this site, so I decided to make an appreciation thread. It is often credited for the creation of what "Dance-Pop" is in a post-Disco Pop world. So let's applaud this underrated (on ATRL) album for it's influence, quality, and for the fact that it introduced Madonna to the entire world.

It IS amazing. Filler-free. All songs slay.

The perfect fusion of Disco & New Wave.

It goes from funky, almost r&b inspired (Everybody, Physical Attraction), to more New Wave-ish, like her roots in rock (Burning Up, Think Of Me), to disco (Holiday), to pure pop (Borderline.

What ALL of the pop girls try to accomplish. The quintessential dance-pop album

Think of Me was my favorite when I first listened to it. I still jam to it.
