+1. Not Adele-size success but Gaga-size success would be my prediction.
When I first heard Video Games late August 2011 I just had a feeling this would be one of those amazing one-off classic hits...a fluke that songwriters occasionally come up with once in their career. Then I heard Blue Jeans and i thought maybe she had 2 flukes. But then I heard Born To Die (single) and realised this woman is an unbelievable songwriter. Then I got the album and the rest is history. I think she will stay as long as she's enjoying it, it's not like she hasn't got other strings to her bow (she's already broken into the fashion world and I'm convinced she is also Hollywood-bound) so it just depends. Plus, and some would see this as a negative but i see it as a positive in the sense that she's not in it for the money - she will very probably inherit a **** load of money at some stage in the future so her finances are guaranteed. That gives you a lot of say when it comes to not compromising on your art.
