I missed my own due date, again. Sry, but the Olympics opening ceremony was just so engaging after they made that huge metal ring thingy. But I will be updating in a few minutes, with an expected, yet unexpected departure. Which song is it? "Reflection" or "I Wanna Love You Forever"?
"I Wanna Love You Forever"
Highest score: 10 [Strangergab & supaspaz]
Lowest score: 1 [madonnas]
I have to admit, I wasn't all up-in-arms over this girl when she came out with this song, but I also have to admit that I thought nobody her age could have that kind of voice at that time and age. I mean, yes, Mariah or Whitney would've sung the **** out of this song with so much more power and more beauty, but the fact remains that this is Jessica's unprecedented signature song. It's sad that this is the departure of our first female to leave the rate, but it was nice knowing she made it this far. Top ten is still top ten.
My score: 8.
Highest score: 10 [Passion4MyMusic, Strangergab, Luigi & Kool_Aid_King]
Lowest score: 2.5 [madonnas]
I would be lying if I said I haven't been seeing the outpouring from a certain user about how "Reflection should've been gone by now. I'd also be lying if I said I didn't agree with him. Yes, this is a beautiful song, yes it's one of Disney's best movie songs, but Christina's version, albeit longer, eliminates some of the beauty that came with the original version. Trust me, it's not a bad song at the least, but it could've been extraordinary.
My score: 8.
"I Will Be There"

Lowest score: 5 [madonnas]
I REALLY didn't expect an album track to make it this far, but I'm glad it did. Frankly, it's one of my favorite original album tracks on the entire album. I love Brit's voice on this song. I mean, it has her general style as well as shows off her vocal prowess. And I can even overlook the corny "If you need a friend, I'll be there" message just because of how damn catchy it is.
My score: 9.
Highest score: 10 [Passion4MyMusic, ClassicMainstream, Luigi & supaspaz]
Lowest score: 4 [Kool_Aid_King]
I... didn't like this song at first. Don't kill me! It was her voice that killed me from liking this song as much as her others. I actually couldn't stand it, to be honest. But, after years of maturing my taste in music, I actually enjoy it much more. I still couldn't tolerate her voice like most people tried to.
My score: 8.
Highest score: 9.8 [Luigi]
Lowest score: 8 [Beatiful Sinner, ClassicMainstream & madonnas]
When I saw the gap between the top score and the low score, I almost flipped at how close it was to top five. Again, that voice is horrendous, but she can play sexy kitten in this song very well. I understand why this is the title song, because it's basically the best dance-y song on this entire album. She was so close to actually lasting up to the top 5 and I know Mandy fans are probably upset she got beat by the "veterans" (if you count a few months as veteran experience), but the fact that she basically has a top 5 worthy song should suffice. I'm glad she made it this far.
My score: 9.
I never thought I'd say this, but: You guys did Jessica WRONG. Yes, most of Sweet Kisses is absolute trash. But "I Think I'm In Love You" outside the top ten? "I Wanna Love You Forever" beaten by "Reflection"? Let's show a little bit of respect to her (few) good songs.
As for poor Mandy, her album may be bland to the max, but she did right with "Candy." How did it miss the top five? I can't really argue against the quality of any of the remaining tracks, but it feels somehow to only have Britney and Christina left at this point.
