How long do you think albums should be for an artist?
I think 10-12 tracks is good for an album, I don't want it to be too short or too long.

Honestly, anything 15+ is obnoxious, but then it depends on the length of the songs and other things too.

I'm fine with 2-4 additional tracks, like bonuses and whatnot, but anything over ten usually results in fillers.

To me, it doesn't matter how many tracks an album has as long as the songs are easy to listen and flow through well.

The number of tracks on an album really don't determine the quality (The ArchAndroid has 18 tracks and it's a critically acclaimed album). Really, if an artist is going to have an album for me to listen with 15+ tracks, there better not be fillers.

12 tracks for albums with tracks over 4:30.

I used to care more for quantity, but lately I've been enjoying 12 track & 13 track albums with a runtime of 48 minutes at most. It weeds out the weaker tracks.

If I wanted a longer album, I'd buy the deluxe.

EPs are the best. There's no filler on them & I wish more people did this. It makes albums like TFM seem so good to people because there's not filler. The less tracks, the more quality there has to be to make it measure up.

It doesn't really matter because it depends on the length of the tracks.
But I generally like 11-13 songs on an album.
