We're talking about "Video Phone" flopping hard on urban radio, which maybe prevented it from charting high on the Hot 100.

"Telephone" wasn't catered to urban, and I said Gaga works better as a lead artist.

I think it would have been a success on urban radio if Gaga wasn't on it. Even a Gaga sample on "Make Her Say" failed to go far on urban radio after Cudi's top 5 urban hit, "Day N Nite." She doesn't work well as a feature.

Gaga just doesn't go well with urban songs. I always felt like her part on Video Phone was out of place. She worked well on The Lady Is A Tramp though.

Wikipedia says the album version was sent to urban, but most people say that the remix is the one that got the airplay, but it could have just been certain radio stations. It's a bad song either way, though. I just find it odd that the song didn't do well on even urban stations after Beyonce's success there up until that point. Even "Halo," a pop/rhythmic song, did well.

But I don't mind hearing both of them in this song. I think they are really good/funny rappers, Jadakiss made better success than Styles P espcially after the song Jenny From The Block. But they could have done better with some of their music.
