All Things Bright and Beautiful was all around amazing, tbh. It was a grower, and not well-received critically, but then again, neither was Ocean Eyes. I'm pretty sure The Midsummer Station will be like that as well.

I know Adam said he's working with other producers on this album, but he's still co-producing and writing. I'm sure the songs will still have the same Owl City charm we know and love.

The public is never here for Adam. Sad, because his music is always so catchy and euphoric.

I like Owl City a lot, but I have a feeling I'm going to be disappointed with this. I liked him when he had deeper/quirky lyrics and interesting electronic sounds.

It seems lately that he's trying to be more mainstream, which I understand, but I prefer his songs like The Tip of the Iceberg, Dear Vienna, Rainbow Veins etc. to all of his new songs. There's not much to be said for his new lyrics

I hope the other tracks are better than Good Time/Gold/Dementia

Right. But at the time, we didn't know how many songs would be on the album. If there were the same amount of songs on The Midsummer Station as there were on All Things Bright and Beautiful (14 if you count Lonely Lullaby), then it wouldn't have been as big of an issue. But with the Shooting Star EP and Good Time as the first single, about half the album is already out.

It just means there's significantly less surprises for us on the album than there originally would have been. It's not that big a deal I suppose. I'm sure it will still be a great album, but it would have been nice if he added a couple more songs to compensate.

And the cover is flawless. I read somewhere that it's supposed to be a culmination of all four of his albums in one. Top left is from Maybe I'm Dreaming. Bottom left is from Ocean Eyes. Top right is the tree from All Things Bright and Beautiful. The bottom right is probably going to be revealed in the course of this album. Not to mention, it's breathtaking.
