Capitol cements best label status: Wide Awake promo campaign

On Tuesday, June 19, 2012, MTV News' Sway Calloway will sit down for an exclusive interview with pop-sensation, singer and songwriter Katy Perry for the broadcast premiere of her never-before-seen music video "Wide Awake" at 7:53 p.m. ET on MTV during "MTV FIRST: KATY PERRY." The worldwide premiere will reach more than 600 million households around the world via MTV's global network of more than 60 channels, as well as over 300 digital media properties in 150+ territories. Fans around the world will also be able to stream the video online at http://katyperry.mtv.com.
Following the on-air portion, Katy will stay on for an additional 30-minute interview on MTV.com to discuss her new movie "KATY PERRY: PART OF ME," as well as "Wide Awake," the song Katy wrote for the movie. In the US, the music video will premiere on MTV's sibling networks VH1, Logo and Teen Nick and debut on MTV.com, VH1.com and LOGOtv.com. In addition, the video will go into rotation immediately on mtvU, MTV Hits and AMTV the following morning.

Beyonce and Lana need to leave those ****** labels and get on Capitol.
Capitol makes Interscope look really basic with their promo tactics,really.I have to say that I'm kinda surprised they're not bankrupt by now.
