Just heard UTS for the very first time (I'm more of a casual listener, not that I'm a huge fan of hers or anything), and all I can say is: Under the Sun >>>>>>>> Call My Name... although I do understand why she decided to release CMN as the lead single off AML.
Hopefully UTS will get some Radio 2 airplay, there is a possibilty it might boost album sales... as long as they promote it properly (I highly doubt they will, though).
Maybe it's time we just move on from her solo adventures if she has already done it, because that's what it looks like, that she doesn't care to be a solo popstar anymore.
I am losing interest in her tbh, she just doesn't give a damn and if she can't be bothered then why should I bother. Perhaps there is something going on that we don't know about in her personal life though. I still find it strange her manager stated he has been with her for a week, I wonder what they are doing? Anyway this is his recent tweets about Cheryl,
CC is super good! I just spoke to her! can't tell you where she at because the papz follow me?
Yall need to relax, so what if its not the best selling album of all time, it wouldnt change the music and considering she spent loads of Time and effort clearly she does care, I doubt she cares how much she sells at this point. She's probably busy with GA anyway.
She's back in L.A. to start with the rehearsals of her tour, but she won't bother to go back to the UK and promote.
No I think she will, if her This Morning interview is being pre-recorded and shown during the release week then I can see her having a pre-recorded performance too. Also I can't see Polydor sitting back and letting her just disappear and not promoting this, the album is under-performing so they will expect her to promote I think.
Jonathan Ross is back on tv now and Alan Carr starts soon aswell, so I can also see an interview and performance on one of them. Plus she was a rumoured guest on Red Or Black which started back this week too, so I think she will pop up on one of these. She would only need to fly back for a few days at most.
