Having said that, I DO hope she records while on tour again or something and RCA gets her a 4th quarter release in 2013. I just doubt it.

Flop. Breakaway was 2004. And you can't go by the year, go by the months. 19 months between Thankful-Breakaway, 31 months between Breakaway-MD, 21 months between MD-AIEW, 31 months between AIEW-Stronger. Two albums had 31 month breaks.. and Stronger is successful so far.. if they keep the longevity going it will be 2014.

And Kelly isn't single now, she's gonna want more time off I bet. I know she said she won't really slow down as Brandon is busy, too, but I think after her tour ends in January she'll wait a few months to begin recording.

Hmm. I can't picture a Kelly and Darkchild song. Rodney is a very versatile producer though, so i'm sure he can pull it off.

Well I can see Kelly doing something similar to "He About To Lose Me".

Kelly should not do that in releasing an album with almost 2 years gap anymore especially with this one. This is no Breakaway in terms of success, she needs to release an album asap in late 2013 and keep the fire she started going. We are lucky we have Fall release, Superbowl and SNL especially WDKY

I don't think it will be.......I think it will all be sweet love songs now that she has a boyfriend..........although i hope she squeezes 1 or 2 boybashing ones.........

I don't think she's ever going to venture away from pop rock. All her uptempo singles had a rock edge to them:

But when it comes to the theme. I've found it hard to believe we are getting boy bashing songs on this album. Kelly has been nothing but happy and in love this era. I can see the first single having the same theme as My life Would Suck Without You.

Stronger is lukewarm compared to Breakaway's overall success.

I'm a really optimistic person but I just can't see Kelly having another era as big as Breakaway. Stronger (the single) was huge but still the album sales are lacking. Ballads are seller and that's why I hope Dark Side becomes a hit.

If Kelly is ever going to have the next breakaway, she needs to have the next Because Of You.

Look at 21, sales started to go like crazy when Someone Like You was released.
